Meteoterm is WMO terminology database. It contains specialized terminology in six languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. It includes the International Meteorological Vocabulary, the International Glossary of Hydrology and terms from related sciences that appear in WMO documents.

Please note that, as of February 2020, Meteoterm has been integrated into the United Nations Terminology Database UNTERM. The database on the old platform is no longer supported and will be discontinued shortly.

To view only Meteoterm entries, first perform your search and then click on "WMO" in the list of databases on the left. If you perform a new search, this filter will be reset and it will be necessary to click on "WMO" again.
